Since 1984 I have worked as a freelance artist and designer. I have been fortunate to be commissioned to produce several different kinds of work by clients who were brave enough to give me an open brief and then generously went along with what I dreamed up. I produced wood-engravings, woodcuts, paintings, letter-cutting, glass-engraving and sculpture.
Examples of work in glass-engraving and lettercutting completed over the past 30 years are gathered together in an Archive.

This Photograph was taken by Murdo MacLeod when I was at work on a large relief mural in coloured limewood for Dover City Council. It was commissioned by the designer of the permanent exhibition, John Sunderland. Prior to it being taken from my studio it was erected in our new conservatory.
